Lenora Thompson, 82, of Glouster, Ohio passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital Columbus, Ohio. Lenora was born June 27, 1933 in Wrightstown, Ohio to Harvey and Sally Ball. She loved glass items at flea markets; enjoyed wildlife, camping, and travel. Surviving are her sons Ronald E (Kimberly) Thompson of Temperance, MI, Ricky A. (Suzanne) Thompson of Toledo, and Paul E. (Kimberly) Thompson of Florence, SC.; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, George (Virginia) Ball of Toledo; and her companion, Robert McCall of Murray City. Lenora was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin H. Thompson; son, Roger Lee Thompson; brothers, Roy, Raymond, Delbert, Willard, Russell, and Howard Ball; and sisters, Thelma Ball, Nellie Smith, Dessie Neff and Eileen Dunlap. Funeral services were held 1:00pm Friday April 8, 2016 at the Brown Funeral Home, Murray City, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial was in Glouster Cemetery, Glouster, Ohio. Calling hours were observed 2-4 & 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
