Alvin Eugene Richmond, 63, of Glouster, Ohio
passed away December 16, 2017 at his residence.
Alvin was born March 27, 1954 in West Hamlin, West Virginia to Alvin and Virgie
Richmond. He worked for 22 years at E.B. Sawmiller in Murray City; worked at
D&J Tree Trimming: drove for 10 years at R E Wagoner & Sons U.S. mail
delivery service; and attended the Southern Baptist Church in Glouster,
Ohio.
Surviving are his siblings, Jessilee (Charles) Miller, Kennith Richmond,
Evelean (Maxwell) Farley, Geneva Phillips, Larry (Donna) Richmond, Betty Jean
(Randy) Peck, Eddie Richmond, Dale Richmond, Wondel Richmond, Dorothy Richmond
and Kay Hall-Bevridge; children, Jason Richmond, Crystal (Brian Martin) Richmond,
Devon Richmond and Seth Richmond; and ex-spouses, Donna Giffin Richmond and
Jill Kinnison Richmond.
Alvin was preceded in death by his parents; infant sibling, Dennis; and
brother, Hurston.
Funeral services were held at 6:00 pm, Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Brown
Funeral Home, Murray City, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed Thursday December 21, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm
at the funeral home.
