Bonita Craft Ponn, 93, of Willoughby Hills,
Ohio passed away August 25, 2018 at her residence in Willoughby Hills,
Ohio.
Bonita was born May 10, 1925 in Murray City, Ohio to Howard C. and Cora Craft.
She retired from General Motors after 32 years; attended Murray City Schools;
and attended the Methodist Faith Church.
Surviving are son John C. Ponn of Willoughby Hills; grandson Brian (Bridget)
Ponn; 2 great-grandchildren, Trevor Ponn & Indica Ponn; sister Jean Berry
of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.
Bonita was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John C. Ponn Sr., who
passed July 18, 2016; son Ronny Ponn; and sisters, Gyneth Thompson, Ladonna
Worthington, Ruth Kruger, and Roberta Prokop.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm, Friday, September 14, 2018 at the Brown
Funeral Home, Murray City, Ohio with Pastor Dave Shoemaker officiating. Burial
was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed Friday, September 14, 2018 from 11am to 1pm at the
funeral home.
