Doris
Ann Foughty, 79, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away August 23, 2015 at
The Laurels of Athens, Athens, Ohio.
Doris was born March 17, 1936 in Redtown, Ohio to Leonard Owen and Grace
Lenora Leinger. She worked for the former Doctor’s Hospital of
Nelsonville in the housekeeping department.Surviving are her son Ricky
Wayne Foughty of Lancaster; daughter Lisa Pack of The Plains;
daughter-in-law Rebecca Foughty of Millfield; 6 grandchildren; and
sister Elaine (Roy) Clonch of Jackson.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bernard Melvin
Foughty, who died in 1965; sons, Thomas Owen Foughty and Terry Lee
Foughty; and brother Leonard Albert Leinger.
Funeral services were held 1:00 pm Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at the
Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Rev. King Kelly
officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 11:00 am
till time of service.
