John Scott Forbes, 51, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away July 19, 2018 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio.
Scott was born November 6, 1966 in Nelsonville, Ohio to Gerald Hadley and Margaret Ellen Forbes. He was a member of the NRA; and worked at Athens-Hocking Recycling Centers.
Surviving are his siblings, Jeri Lynn (Nelson) Trimmer of Tennessee, Gary (Janet) Forbes of Coshocton, Laura (Gary) Champ of Logan, Lisa (Steve) Sells of Lancaster. Linda (Brent) Williams of Logan, and Robbie (Amy Kilkenny) Wilkinson of Nelsonville; girlfriend, Angela Loudner; and special cousins, Karen Jones of Columbus, and Sara and John Cheeseman of Nelsonville.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents; and aunts, Mabel Birdge and Marguerite Jones.
Memorial services were held at 6:00 PM Monday July 23, 2018 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Gary Forbes officiating.
Calling hours were observed Monday from 4 pm till time of service.
