Dorothy I. Rutter (Reynolds), 66, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Murray City, passed away August 25, 2016 at Franklin Woods Nursing Home, Columbus, Ohio. Dorothy was born Ocotber 17, 1949 in Athens, Ohio to Basil and Mary Bennett. Surviving are her daughters, Melissa (Larry) Frank, Tammy Miller (Todd Schwartz), and Kimberly Reynolds; grandchildren, Michael, Jimmy, Travis, Autumn, Justin (Felicia), Tara, Kaitlyn, Kendra, and Kylie; great-grandchildren, Arianna, Elaina, Blaze, Kynleigh, Delaenee, and Ehzra; and siblings, Elmer Bennett, Fred “Bear” Bennett, and Candy Starlin. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husbands, Alvin Reynolds and Kenneth Rutter; grandson Kenneth George Williams II; and brother Stanley “Buck” Bennett. Funeral services were held 11:00 am Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at the Brown Funeral Home Murray City, Ohio. Burial was in New Marshfield Cemetery, New Marshfield, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Monday, August 29, 2016 from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers Donations can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
