Evelyn I. Milliron, 81, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away March 20, 2015 at Logan Health Care, Logan, Ohio. Evelyn was born August 22, 1933 in Nelsonville, Ohio to Arthur and Elsie McCray. She was a member of Wesleyan Church and Auxillary member of the VFW of Nelsonville; and worked at Rocky Boots and Dairy Queen. Surviving are her sons, Donald (Brenda Kasler) Powell of Nelsonville and Gary Powell of Nelsonville; daughter-in-law, Kim Powell of Carbon Hill; grandchildren, Steve (Tina) Powell, Heather (Jeff) Winchell, Kimberly (Johnny) Oehlers, Gary Allen Powell Jr., Lynn Marie Powell, and Amber (Allan Hite) Powell, McCray Powell, Mike (CoeDe) Durba, and Kevin (Schuyler) Simons; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Delbert (Dixie) McCray of Roseville; half-brother, Gene McCray of Coalton; and special friends, Marsha Hausinger of New Straitsville, Janet Postelwait of Nelsonville, and Donna Sullivan of Buchtel. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnnie Milliron; son, Michael Powell; sister, Ellie Heinlein; and brother, Raymond McCray Funeral services were held 2:00 pm Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home Nelsonville, Ohio with Rev. Mike Thomas officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 12:00 noon to time of service.
