James William Biggins 59, of Athens, Ohio# passed away July 27, 2017 at O’Bleness Medical Center, Athens, Ohio. James was born June 6, 1958 in Athens, Ohio to Clarence Richard and Carol Louise Biggins. He was an U.S. Army Veteran. Surviving are his wife Christina Biggins; children, Tiffany Grant and Mike Biggins; 6 grandchildren; and sister Rebecca (Marvin) Winchell of Georgia. James was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter; brother Clarence Biggins Jr.; and sister Shelby Fox. Funeral services were held 1:00 pm Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home Nelsonville, Ohio with Pastor Linda Berry officiating. Burial was in Connett Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio, where Military Graveside services were held by the Athens County Honor Guard. Calling hours were observed Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 11:00 am to time of service. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Warren-Brown Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
