Nancy
G. Warren, 66, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away May 23, 2016 at The
Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
Nancy was born March 21, 1950 in Logan, Ohio to Marion and Jennie Bruce.
She was a cook for the Nelsonville Public Schools; and was a good wife
and mother and she loved her grandchildren very much.
Surviving are her husband of 47 years, James Warren; son, James “Jay”
(Parrie) Warren Jr.; grandchildren, Justin and Peighton Warren; sister,
Mary (Eddie) Simms; brother, Gary (Sandy) Warren of Nelsonville;
sister-in-law, Donna Bruce of Athens; brother-in-law, Ronnie Crabtree;
and several nieces and nephews, including special nieces and nephews
Debbie Crabtree, Randy Crabtree, Shannon Bruce, and Brandon Bruce.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gary Bruce; and
sister-in-law, Betty Crabtree.
Funeral services were held 1:30 pm Friday, May 27, 2016 at the
Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Pastor Steve Hubbard
officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm
at the funeral home.
