Robert G. Haas, 80, of Avon Lake, Ohio passed away September 28, 2015 at Cleveland Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio. Bert was born March 20, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio to Robert J. and Marie Haas. He graduated High School in 1953; was in the US Army from 1954-1956; graduated from Ohio University in 1960; and retired as a salesman. Surviving are his daughters and sons-in-law, Jean Radford Bunting (Ed) of Locust Grove, Virginia, and Bettsy Radford Stanley (Ron) of Albany, Ohio; grandchildren, Rad Bunting (Dawn) of Wilminmgton, NC, Jennifer Stanley Warner (Jerry) of Albany, OH, Emily Bunting (Andrew Spencer) of Reston, VA, and Sarah Stanley Buswell (John) of Athens, OH; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Judith Betts Wysong of Westerville, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Mark Wysong, who has helped care for Bert for the last 7 years, and 15 others; and a number of cousins. Bert was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Margaret Haas (Betts Radford), who passed away November 16, 2008; sister, June Haas Corcelli; and 16 brothers and sisters-in-law. Funeral services were held 2:00 pm Saturday, October 3, 3015 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home Nelsonville, Ohio with Walt Goble officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 1:00 pm to time of funeral.
