Robert L. Williams Sr., 78, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away February 22, 2015 at Sunbridge Care Center, New Lexington, Ohio. Robert was born April 27, 1936 in Hocking County, Ohio to Calvin and Margaret Williams. He was a member of the VFW. Surviving are his sons, David, Greg and Roger Williams all of Nelsonville; daughters, Tammy Whitney of Nelsonville and Angie Williams of Michigan; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and sisters, Erma Dane of Carbon Hill and Helen (Wendel) Proctor of Newark. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; son Robert Williams; brothers, Calvin and Roger Williams; sister, Eve Freeman; and great-grandchild, Jerry Lee Williams. Funeral services were held at 6:00 pm Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Rev. Ernie Perkins officiating. Calling hours were observed Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 3:00 pm to time of service.
