William David Horton, age 53, of Logan, Ohio, passed away March 10, 2021 at Doctors Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
William was born March 5, 1968 in Davenport, IA to Robert Frank Horton and Shirley Esther (Vermillion) Horton. He was a 1987 graduate of Logan Hocking High School. William worked at Huddles, Walmart, TEC Construction, and Horton Construction and he enjoyed gardening and fishing in his free time.
Surviving are his mother Shirley Horton of Logan; children, Adam (Stephanie) Horton of Lancaster and Kayla (Ryan Rosser) Horton of Logan; grandchildren, Jaelyn, Ethan, and Cole; siblings, Jeff Horton, Holly (Rick Stephenson) Horton, Lori (Todd) Cottrill, Shane Horton, Matt (Tammy) Horton, and Caleb (Kory) Horton; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a lot of good friends.
William was preceded in death by his father Robert Horton and grandparents.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, March 15, 2021 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Steve Hubbard officiating. Calling hours were observed on Sunday, March 14, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
