Bertha Eileen Rucker, 94, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away July 6, 2018 at her residence.
Bertha was born October 28, 1923 in Westerville, Ohio to Leslie B. and Elsie Smith. She loved her many pets.
Surviving are her children, Steve (Mindy) Rucker, Mary Jo (Jack) Yost, Gail Rucker, Lynn Everetts, and Janie Wood; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; brother, Frank (Lurliene) Smith of Marysville, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
Bertha was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Rucker, who passed away July 20, 2017; and brothers, Harold, Jim, Jack, and Bob Smith.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm, Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Chaplain Kermit Welfy officiating. Entombment was in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed Monday, July 9, 2018 from 11:00 am to time of service.
