Betty
E Winigman, 90, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away December 28, 2017 at
Logan Care and Rehabilitation, Logan, Ohio.
Betty was born July 30, 1927 in Kimberly, Ohio to Edward and Goldie
Nelson. She was the owner and operator of Reds Mudhouse for many years.
Surviving are her daughter, Nyoka Kennedy of Nelsonville; son, Clarence
L. (Barbara) Winigman of Rockbridge; grandsons, Alan Kennedy of
Nelsonville and Adam Kennedy of Parkersburg, WVA; sister, Edna (Duane)
Roberts of Nelsonville; special niece, Andrea Roberts; and several other
nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence L. “Red”
Winigman, Sr; siblings, Kathryn Hatfield, Clarence Nelson and Ardith
Kelly; and brother-in-law, Glen Patrick.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 31, 2017 at the
Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Rev. Peter Galbraith
officiating. Burial was in the Carbon Hill Cemetery, Carbon Hill, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed on Sunday, December 31, 2017 from 12:00 Noon
til time of service.
