In loving memory of Douglas Edwin Miller, Sr., 59 years old, passed away January 11, 2016 at Millfield, Ohio. He was born December 2, 1956. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Miller from Millfield; sons, Douglas and Nikki Miller from Athens, Jason Miller, George Miller and Gary Miller from Millfield; daughters, Cathy Miller from Glouster, Cindy Miller and Julie Miller from Millfield, and Patricia and Carl Puckett from Glouster; sister, John and Patricia South from Chillicothe; brother, Gary Miller from Florida; 21 grandchildren; and 1 great grandson. He was loved by his mother-in-law, Genevieve Spears; and his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; several nieces and nephews; and his very good friend Eugene Duncan from Trimble. Doug was preceded in death by his father and mother, George and Edith Miller from Millfield; brother, George Miller from Sugar Grove; father-in-law, Jim Spears; brother-in-law, Jimmy Spears; and nephews, Johnny South from Sugar Grove, Kenneth Hoppstetter and Brian Hoppstetter from New Straitsville. Funeral services were held at 1:30 pm Friday January 15, 2016 at the Brown Funeral Home in Murray City, Ohio with Delbert Winegardner officiating. Burial was in Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield, Ohio. Calling hours were held Thursday 2-4 & 6-8pm at the funeral home.
