Larry E. McDonald, 73, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away November 19, 2015 at his residence. Larry was born August 13, 1942 in Buchtel, Ohio. He was a 1960 graduate of Buchtel York High School; was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran; worked as a molder at Carborundum; and loved his grandchildren and attending their events. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, as of November 27, 1965, Donna L. McDonald; daughters, Christina (Kris) Bunting of Nelsonville and Lynette (Jamie) Thompson of New Straitsville; grandchildren, Kayleigh Bunting of New Straitsville, Conner (Allie) Bunting of Buchtel, Nathan Thompson of New Straitsville, and Nicholas Thompson of New Straitsville; and great-grandchild, Paisley Bunting of Buchtel. Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia McDonald; and sister, Jean Ann McCombs. Arrangements were by Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio.
