Mona L. Wolfe, 78, of Murray City, Ohio passed
away September 11, 2018 at her residence.
Mona was born August 26, 1940 in Dorr Run, Ohio to Rev. Troy and Teresa Fields.
She enjoyed collecting antiques.
Surviving are daughter Vicki Murray of Murray City; grandchildren, Lacy
(Justin) Erickson of Tucson, AZ, Danielle (Ian) Dennis of Tucson, AZ, and
Gregory (Paige) Sexton of Noblesville, IND; 4 great-grandchildren; and sisters,
Irene (Jerry) Hoy of Logan and Rita Spring of Nelsonville.
Mona was preceded in death by her parents; husband Murlin “Chink”
Wolfe; children, Michael Smathers, Janet Street, and Jeffrey Smathers; sisters,
Ann Arment and Ruth Higgins; and brother Paul Fields.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the
Brown Funeral Home, Murray City, Ohio with Pastor Tim Poling officiating.
Calling hours were observed Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 12:00 Noon to
time of service.
