Nola Jean McDaniel, 76, of New Straitsvile, Ohio passed away August 21, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital Columbus, Ohio. Nola was born September 19, 1939 in Nelsonville, Ohio to Alonzo R. and Evelyn M. Christian. She was a 1958 graduate of Nelsonville High School; retired from Goodyear; and member of the Wesleyan Church in Nelsonville. Surviving are her sons, Craig (Lora) Tackett of KY, Joseph (Brenda) McDaniel of New Holland, William (Patty Taylor) McDaniel of Jacksonville, Henry McDaniel of Jacksonville; daughter, Deborah Collinsworth of New Straitsville, Cheryl Tackett of Columbus, Tracy Levandosky of Logan, and Patricia (Kevin) Perry of Logan; 18 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Virginia Newlun of Doanville, Sandy (Fred) Loudner of Nelsonville, Willain C. Christian of Doanville, and Vicky (Bob) Winchel of Doanville. Nola was preceded in death by her parents; husband Beaumont who passed away in 1989; and brother Richard Christian. Funeral services were held 1:00 pm Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Thomas officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Friday, August 26, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
