Ruth Ann Williams, 79, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away August 31, 2016 at Grant Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. Ruth Ann was born January 28, 1937 to Bert and Wilma Tolliver. She retired from The Nelsonville-York School System; and was a member of the First Christian Church. Surviving are her son, Brent S. (Linda) Williams of New Plymouth; daughters, Teresa (Tommy) Tedrow of The Plains, and Karen (Roger) Bail of Albany; grandchildren, Valerie, Tara, Jill, Lindsay, Nick, and Brad; great-grandchildren, Briley, Nate, Marley Mae, Zach, Kinley, Brantley, Jaelyn, and Colton; sisters-in-law, Shirley Robinette of Nelsonville, and Rita (Cecil) Neel of Murray City; brother-in-law, Paul Kasler of Buchtel; and several nieces and nephews. Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald G. Williams, who passed away February 16, 2000; sisters, Joan and Pam; brother, Turtle; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ralph and Mabel Williams; sister-in-law, Carol Kasler; and brother-in-law, Jerry Robinette. Funeral services were held 11:00 am Tuesday September 6, 2016 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Rev. Gary Alton officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Monday 4-8 pm at the funeral home.
