Carolyn J. Wilson, 76, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away November 10, 2016 at her residence. Carolyn was born May 16, 1940 in Nelsonville, Ohio to Lawrence and Letha Newton. She was a member of the Weslyan Church of Nelsonville; and member of Emblem Club 97 and Ladies Moose of Glouster. She was a former Co-owner of C & J Tax Service, for several years. Surviving are her son, Ronald (Cheri) North Sr. of Nelsonville; daughter, Pamela Schultz of Nelsonville; step-sons, Jerry (Shirley) Wilson of Nelsonville and Robert E. (Mary) Wilson of Nelsonville; step-daughter, Sandra (John) King of Galloway; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; special cousin, Jody Abdella of Chauncey; special friends, Teena and Joe Bob Windle of Nelsonville; and special companion, her dog Patches. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert M. Wilson, who passed March 17, 2010; daughter, Rita Vermillion; brother, Don Newton; twin sister, Marylou; and sister, Gloria Lott. Funeral services were held 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home Nelsonville, Ohio with Rev. Andy Steine and Pastor Peter Galbraith officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
