Steve Kasler, 49, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away June 3, 2017 at his residence, after an extended battle with cancer. Steve was born February 23, 1968 in Hocking County, Ohio to Ronald W. Kasler Sr. and Rita K. Kasler. He was a 1986 graduate from Nelsonville-York High School; and worked at Sawmiller in Haydenville. Surviving are his brothers, Ronald Kasler Jr. of Logan, and Raymond (Christy) Kasler of Nelsonville; nephew, Ashton Kasler of Nelsonville; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Steve was preceded in death by his parents; and grandparents, Max and Garnet Smith, and Robert and Betty Kasler. The family wants to give a special thanks to Ohio Health Hospice in Athens, and to, Janet Dye, Pam Gaston, Summer Burgess, Jacki Patton, and Tammy Hawk, for the wonderful care provided during this difficult time.
