Susan Patricia Mohney Davis, 47, of Columbus passed away Wednesday July 13, 2016 at St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville, Ohio. Born on May 23, 1969, she was the daughter of the late Robert A. Mohney and Jacklyn Wilson Mohney Zapert. She was a 1987 graduate of Westerville South High School and a graduate of Tri-County Adult Career Center with a license in Cosmetology. Susan is survived by her son, Trent Davis; daughter, Megan Davis, both of Columbus; brothers, David Mohney and Shawn (Nicki) Mohney of Nelsonville; paternal grandmother, Helen Mohney of Nelsonville; step-father, Mark Zapert; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her brother, Rob Mohney; maternal grandparents, Lillian Huddy Wilson Hall and Jack Wilson; and paternal grandfather, Charles “Jake” Mohney. No calling hours were observed. A Graveside service was conducted 1:00 pm on Tuesday July 19, 2016 at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to The Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio, to help with Susan’s final expenses.
