Cyrus J. Craig Sr., 63, of Glouster, Ohio passed away May 11, 2015 at his residence. Cyrus was born February 2, 1952 in Millfield, Ohio to Robert Allen and Marjorie Craig. He was a member of the Cornerstone Harvist Church. Surviving are his wife, Sharon L. Craig of Glouster; mother, Marjorie Craig of Columbus; son, Cyrus J. Craig Jr.; 3 girls that he called daughters, Jamie (Daniel) Decore of Glouster, Sherry (Shannon) McKee of Canal Winchester, and Christina Rankin of Lancaster; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sisters, Barbara (Robert) Vachio of Grandville, Marjorie (Harry) Thompson of Columbus, Carol (Tim) Kelly of Columbus, and Pam Craig of Columbus; brothers, Robert Craig of Columbus, Jack Craig of Columbus, and Douglas (Lori) Craig of Rausea, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews. Cyrus was preceded in death by his father; sister, Sharon Kairis; and brother, Charles Craig. Funeral services were held 1:00 pm Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Brown Funeral Home Murray City, Ohio with Linda Berry officiating. Burial was in Beech Grove Cemetery, Glouster, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home. The family requests donations can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral costs.
