Donald
S. Powell, 64, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away November 2, 2017 at
University Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.
Donald was born July 13, 1953 in Louisiana to Evelyn Milliron. He
worked at Rocky Boots; and hobbies were hunting, fishing, and gardening.
Surviving are his companion of 30 years, Brenda Kasler of Nelsonville;
children, Steve (Carrie) Powell of Nelsonville, Heather (Jeff) Winchell
of Rockbridge, and Kimberly (Johnny) Oehlers of Nelsonville;
grandchildren, Hunter, Parker, and Rilee; brother, Gary Powell of
Nelsonville; friends, Matt Bland and Greg Frank; and several nieces and
nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Mike Powell.
Funeral services were held 7:00 pm Wednesday November 8, 2017 at the
Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed Wednesday 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
