Elsie M. Cook, 87, of Murray City, Ohio passed away November 28, 2016 at Pickering House Lancaster, Ohio. Elsie was born December 28, 1928 in Morris Town, Ohio to Frank and Opal Walton. She was a graduate of Chauncey High School; and retired from Doctors Hospital of Nelsonville. Surviving are children, Carol Kapple of Belpre, Ohio, Linda Fullerton of New Straitsville, Becky (Pearl) Spencer of New Lexington, and Gary Cook of Murray City; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and her special doggie Luigi. Elsie was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Junior Cook; brother Frank Junior Walton; sisters, Thelma, Wilma, Esther Walton; step-children, Nancy Dozer and Bobby Cook; and 3 grandchildren, Katy and Kathy Cook, and Jason Dozer. Funeral services were held 11:00 am Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the Brown Funeral Home, Murray City, Ohio with Scott Kapple officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio Calling hours were observed Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 2-6 pm at the funeral home.
