Gary Robert Woodgeard, age 71, of New Plymouth, Ohio, passed away August 7, 2021 at Doctor’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Gary was born October 30, 1949 in New Plymouth, Ohio to Charles Woodgeard and Dorothy Woodgeard. He was a good man and would help anyone.
Surviving are his daughter Tammy (Terry) Covert of Seville, Florida; son Robert Woodgeard of Laurelville; grandchildren Josh (Heather) VanHoose, Alisha VanHoose, Melissa VanHoose (Josh), and Tamara (Nathan) Stewart, all of Washington Courthouse; 9 grandchildren; several brothers and sisters; friend Paul VanHoose; and best friend Mike Winland of Londonderry.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents; and grandchildren Melvin and Christopher VanHoose.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday August 10, 2021 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio. Burial was in New Plymouth Cemetery. Calling hours were observed 1-2 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
