Lester R. Smith Sr., 79, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away June 18, 2017 at his residence. Lester was born November 14, 1937 in Athens County, Ohio to Raymond and Freda Smith. Surviving are his daughters, Teresa Klinebriel of Nelsonville, Elizabeth (Mike) McKnight of Lancaster, and Freda Smith Nelsonville; son, Lester R. (Pat) Smith Jr. of Ocala, Florida; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy (Darryl) Dunnington of Nelsonville. Lester was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Helen Louise Smith; second wife, Helen Louise Smith; daughter, Leslie Smith; and brothers, Max Smith, Kenneth Smith, and Donald Smith. Graveside services were held 11:00 am Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the Greenlawn Cemetery Nelsonville, Ohio with Don Young officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 9:00 am to time of service at Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio.
