Rick L. Humphrey, 64, of Glouster, Ohio passed away November 13, 2015 at Grant Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. Rick was born April 5, 1951 in Athens, Ohio to Howard and June Humphrey. He was a 1969 graduate of Glouster High School; played football for Glouster High School; and was a heavy equipment operator. Surviving are his wife, Emily Humphrey of Glouster, whom he married October 13, 1973; son, Richard Humphrey of Glouster; grandson, Brandon Humphrey; grandaughter, Grace Humphrey; brother, Gary (Laverne) Humphrey of Glouster; sister, Emily (Steve) Toth of Glouster; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tom (Cathy) Hand of Trimble and Richard (Susie) Love of Trimble; and several nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services were held 1:00 pm Tuesday November 17, 2015 at the Brown Funeral Home in Murray City, Ohio with Bruce Westfall officiating. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Monday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral Home.
