Wayne Thompson, age 82, of Logan, Ohio, passed away January 1, 2023, at his residence.
Wayne was born April 5, 1940, in Hocking County, Ohio to Rev. Jesse and Minnie Mae Thompson. Wayne was retired from Certified Oil as a Station Attendant. He enjoyed landscaping and was a member of Faith Tabernacle.
He is survived by his wife, Harriet Thompson; children, Lisa (Lester) Miller, Steve (Tamara) Thompson, Ronald Thompson, and Donald (Cari) Thompson; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers; 4 sisters; and son, Robert Thompson.
Graveside services were held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, January 6, 2023, at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating.
Arrangements are by Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
