Alice Louise Christian, 87, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away August 2, 2017 at her home. Alice was born July 24, 1930 in Enterprise, Ohio to Durward and Frances Woodard. She was a 1948 graduate of Union Furnace High School; and was employed as a bookkeeper at Tansky Auto in Logan, William Brooks Shoe Co., and Collins & Young Appliances. Surviving are her daughter, Linda Jo (Les) Westfall of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Lorinda (Bob) LeClain of Nelsonville and Craig (Nicole) Westfall of Athens; great-grandsons, Zachary LeClain and Joel Westfall; sister-in-law, Nancy Foughty of Coshocton, Ohio; and nieces and nephews. Alice was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 61 years, Joel Christian, who passed away August 2013; beloved infant great-grandson, Samuel Joel LeClain; sisters, Frances Ann Grady Gratton and Mary Jane Brown; and sister-in-law, Peggy Christian. Private services were held. The family sends a special thank you to Ohio Health Home Care and Hospice for their help in their time of need.
