Betty Josephine Newlun 72, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away November 4, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
Betty was born June 17, 1946 in Nelsonville to Clarence Max and Garnet Smith. She loved her family and Television.
Surviving are daughters, Barbara McKee of Nelsonville, Brenda Zirkle of Mason, WV, Susan Newlun of Nelsonville, and Danielle (Harry) Lovett of Columbus; grandchildren, Jolene McKee of Nelsonville, Douglas Young II of Nelsonville, Nicklas Zirkle of West Virginia, Scott Adams of Nelsonville, Shawn Adams of Nelsonville, Clarence Cunningham of Nelsonville, and Adian Young of Athens; and siblings, Leroy (Irene) Smith of Alabama, Paul Young of New Marshfield, Charles (Pam) Smith of Nelsonville, Pam Kempton of Buchtel, Debra Saunders of Union Furnace, and Dorothy (John) Bullock of Nelsonville.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband Daniel Webster, who passed away in 1994; sisters, Rita Kasler and Alice Smith; and brother Clarence Smith.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 PM Saturday November 10, 2018 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Pastor Jay Schlenker officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed Friday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
