Janice Louise Clouston, 71, our beautiful sister, aunt, and cousin, went home to heaven on March 26, 2016. She was born in Haydenville on January 28, 1945 to John F. and Edna (Bridge) Clouston. During her childhood, Janice was a member of the Nelsonville Christian Church, and presently, a member of Cross Pointe Freewill Baptist Church, Lancaster. Janice is survived by her three sisters, Judy (Charles) Backus and Sharon Campbell, both of Arizona, and Lisa (David) Kline of Nelsonville; one brother, Jack (Diana) Clouston of Oregon; special niece, Sara Gibbons of Logan; special nephews, Tim (Kylie) Kline and Ben Kline both of Nelsonville; many other nieces and nephews; and many cousins. She was loved by many, including her fellow residents and staff at Arbors of Carroll. She loved people and was a great Christian witness. Besides her parents, Janice was also preceded in death by her step-mother, Gertrude Clouston; sisters, Patricia Ray, Rosemary Vasko, and Lois Gibbons; brothers, Jim Ray and Roy Clouston; and nephew, Michael Smith. The family wants to extend their appreciation to the staff of Arbors of Carroll, Carroll, Ohio. A memorial service was held at the Cross Pointe Freewill Baptist Church, Lancaster on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 11:00 am with Pastor Bill Pitts officiating. Inurnment was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville with Graveside Services on Friday at 1:00 pm with Pastor Mike Thomas officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Cross Pointe Freewill Baptist Church, Main St. Lancaster, Ohio 43130. Thanks to Warren-Brown Funeral Home for their help and kindness.
