Rosemary P. Stimel, 76, of The Plains, Ohio, formerly of Nelsonville, passed away August 13, 2016 at Hickory Creek of Athens, The Plains, Ohio. Rosemary was born February 16, 1940 in Nelsonville, Ohio to James and Florence Pitts. Surviving are her daughters, Rhonda (Greg) Dietrich of Reedsville, and Carrol (Mike)Barber of Bellbrook; grandchildren Suzanne Dietrich of Reedsville, Amanda Barber of Lebanon, and Jessica (Kevin) Keaton of Coolville; great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Keaton; and a soon to be great-grandson, Bryson Keaton; sisters, Barbara Wilson of Nelsonville, and Faye Harris of Nelsonville; and brother, Max Pitts of Nelsonville. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Stimel, who passed away February 4, 2002; brothers, Wilbur Pitts, Pete Pitts, Chuck Pitts, and Jimmy Pitts. At Rosemary’s request, there were no services. Arrangements were by Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville.
